WWE.com announced that Raw will host a Bret Hart appreciation night when Raw emanates from his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on May 27.
Hart had previously been reportedly unhappy with his middling roles while making guest appearances for WWE. So WWE had to have something big planned for the self-aggrandizing legend for their return to Canada. In all honesty, this whole thing was probably Bret Hart's idea.
In any event, Hart will be celebrated in his hometown with a night of nostalgia and endearment. His footprints basically trample the '90s in the WWE, with great matches and moments changing the company forever.
