WWE Extreme Rules 2016 is just over a week away, and the card for May 22 is shaping up to be rather remarkable. In addition to how the event has consistently delivered the goods over the years, there is little doubt that this year's installment will follow suit.
Of the five matches made official for the show up to this point, two will be contested under extreme rules. It was once mandatory for every match on the card to have some sort of stipulation, but that hasn't been the case in several years.
It should be a strong show regardless, so perhaps the lack of stipulations will be for the better. Extreme Rules will also have its work cut out for it following the generally well-received Payback ...
