As reported by Dave Meltzer, "there has been talk internally with Spike TV and TNA about a possible change to the companies name as well as a major re-branding in the product."

No matter how you feel about their product, I think it's safe to say that "TNA" may only be a good acronym for a "gentleman's club."
I think we've all gotten used to it over the years so it doesn't sound as awkward as it once did, but it seems like you'll always have to explain, "it's the letters 'T', 'N', and then 'A', not the phrase 'T and A'" the first time you ...
