Re-Building: New Tag Teams Based on the Current WWE Roster

On June 6, 1971, the World Tag Team Championships were formed, becoming THE prize for any tag team that got into WWE.
These would be held by some of the greatest teams in the history of pro wrestling: Hart Foundation, Wild Samoans, Edge & Christian, and more recently, the Hart Dynasty would be some of the great teams to hold the prizes.
Tag team wrestling has often been cited as a launching pad for great singles wrestlers: Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Scott Steiner, and Edge are some of many performers who came from great teams and established themselves as the best of their generation.
The popularity of tag team wrestling might have reached an all-time high in the late 90s and early part of the 21st century.
