Growing up a WWE fan, my biggest heroes were actually those behind the microphone—Gordon Solie, and later, good ol' JR. At the height of my fandom, the late 80s, early 90s, two men could do no wrong—"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Howard Finkel.
The Fink had such a distinct way to introduce superstars to the ring. From "Bret, Hitmaaaaaaaaaaaaan HART!" to "THE...UNNNNDERRRRRRTAKKKEERRR!!," his announcements were unmistakable.
