This is it. The final episode in the "50 Greatest Wrestlers of All Time" series. The last episode drew some criticism based on the placement of a few wrestlers, but Chris Jericho, Goldberg and the late Eddie Guerrero were the biggest lightning rods.
Guerrero was placed 20th, and many scoffed at CM Punk (who was 19th) and others for being ahead of him.
I fully conveyed my appreciation for Guerrero and his accomplishments in the video, but as expected, many felt that Latino Heat was slighted.
I think in many cases this is an example of over-honoring someone posthumously. Whenever someone of any measure of greatness passes, it causes fans and admirers to exaggerate their accomplishments as a form of honoring them.
