A decade ago, a man named Brock Lesnar exploded into the WWE scene, where he was given the nickname “The Next Big Thing,” and it fit perfectly. Less than six months after his debut, Lesnar would go on to become the King of the Ring winner and become the youngest WWE Undisputed Title at SummerSlam in 2002 (a record that has since been broken).
He would go on and headline WrestleMania 19 that same year. All of this occurred during his rookie year. Lesnar would spend the next year almost always in the world title picture, and the fans were in awe at his ability to move around the ring so quickly for someone his size. He had all the abilities and backing of the company to be the star of the next decade.
