The Nov. 29 edition of WWE Raw featured the King of the Ring tournament. The field featured eight competitors and only one has not held a WWE title: Alberto Del Rio.
Del Rio, 33, debuted on Smackdown in June. He has since been feuding with Rey Mysterio. On the Nov. 26 episode, Del Rio interfered in Mysterio’s match with Cody Rhodes. Rhodes was victorious and earned the final spot in the tournament.
The tournament field featured four faces and four heels. As a side note, six of the superstars are featured in the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 video game. Daniel Bryan and Del Rio are absent.
