WWE Armchair Booking: How to Maximize Stardust in 2015
On April - 30 - 2015
WWE has already hinted at the narrative that would propel Stardust to a memorable 2015; it simply has to act on it.
Having the off-kilter, face-painted heel unravel due to identity issues would result in him stealing the show this summer. Further pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship and finally getting around to actually digging into a feud with his brother would help elevate Stardust as well.
For now, Stardust is forced to play a minor role. He is on the fringes of the IC title picture, just lost in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament and is currently minus ...
WWE Payback 2015: Biggest X-Factors to Watch at Massive PPV
On April - 30 - 2015
After Extreme Rules failed to live up to even the lowest of expectations, the WWE is looking to bounce back with an intriguing 2015 edition of the Payback pay-per-view.
While the WWE Universe is struggling to get excited about wrestling right now, several Superstars will be X-factors when it comes to whether fans will enjoy the May PPV.
From Rusev to Roman Reigns to Bray Wyatt, all eyes are on the fresh faces in WWE. Here are the biggest X-factors to watch at WWE Payback 2015.
Rusev Must Beat John Cena
Rusev never should have lost to John Cena at Extreme Rules, but the ...
WrestleMania’s Financial Success Will Further WWE’s Confidence in Roman Reigns
On April - 30 - 2015
With Roman Reigns at the top of the card, WWE WrestleMania 31 raked in unprecedented amounts of money. The staggering numbers associated with the pay-per-view make a formidable case to keep Reigns in that very spot for a long time to come.
The ultimate measure of pro wrestling success is being able to pull in massive amounts of fans—to "draw," to use the squared circle's own parlance. Reigns is still no maestro on a microphone and is not as versatile in the ring as many of his peers, but the latest financial info will have him poised for future opportunities to ...
Daniel Bryan, King of the Ring, the Bella Twins and More from the Royal Mailbag
On April - 30 - 2015
Daniel Bryan's indefinite absence from WWE puts the intercontinental championship picture in jeopardy. Cena's U.S. championship feud with Rusev in addition to his ongoing U.S. Open Challenge make the title an afterthought. Still, the championship will need to make its return to television eventually.
So how's that going to happen?
Intercontinental Incident?
@ThisIsNasty Assuming Bryan is out for months, what would you like to see happen with the IC Title?
— Ethan Weiss (@EthanWeiss1) April 29, 2015
In all likelihood, Bryan will have to forfeit the intercontinental championship. If this is the case, I'd like to see a tournament or a Battle Royal to crown ...
Randy Orton Remaining in WWE Title Hunt After Extreme Rules Is the Right Call
On April - 30 - 2015
Randy Orton may have lost to Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules, but he still is in the WWE title picture.
Even though Orton got his title shot at Extreme Rules against Rollins on Sunday, it placed him at a disadvantage.
His RKO finishing maneuver was banned throughout the match, despite it being set inside a steel cage. Orton still had Rollins all to himself, or so he thought.
Kane stayed at ringside as the special enforcer. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury (J&J Security) tried to interfere. Unfortunately, their presence made Kane very angry.
Kane gave chokeslams to J&J Security, Orton and Rollins in that ...
WWE Payback 2015: Booking Mistakes That Must Be Avoided
On April - 30 - 2015
In just over two weeks, WWE's 2015 Payback event will be held at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
While it may seem like that is quite a bit of time to work out any kinks along the way, keep in mind that there are only a handful of television episodes in which to fully set things up—chiefly two episodes of Monday Night Raw.
That doesn't leave much room for error and can lead to a rush job. In that case, the end result would likely be riddled with problems that hinder the show greatly.
To navigate around as many obstacles as possible, ...
Projecting What WWE’s ‘Tough Enough’ Reboot Should Look Like
On April - 30 - 2015
When WWE Tough Enough returns to the airwaves in June, it will be reshaped.
Expect the reality show to welcome more influence from social media, overlap with NXT and feature a host of new faces in leadership positions. The reboot arrives after a four-year hiatus, part of a WWE landscape that has morphed in the show's absence.
When Tough Enough last aired, WWE's developmental system was not nearly as sleek and engrossing as it is today. Florida Championship Wrestling has since burst from its chrysalis and spread its wings as the increasingly popular NXT.
The WWE Network was but a pipe dream back in 2011; ...

The iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois, hosted all the melees and mayhem on Tuesday night.
SmackDown, though, won't air until Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. Spoilers are easy to find on the Internet. For those ...
WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from April 29
On April - 30 - 2015
For Sami Zayn, 2015 has been a devastating year.
He lost the NXT Championship, suffered a head injury during the contest and has been repeatedly tormented by former friend-turned-bitter enemy Kevin Owens.
Thanks to the ruling made by general manager William Regal Thursday night, coupled with some well-timed mind games from Zayn himself, he has the opportunity to make up for all of the disappointment he may have endured over the first five months of the year, when he challenges Owens for the NXT title at the upcoming Takeover event.
Wednesday night, he was not only granted the championship rematch he deserves, but ...
