WWE Must Give Creative Direction to WrestleMania Losers
On March - 31 - 2015
On Sunday night, a number of WWE's top stars got to experience their "WrestleMania moments."
However, for every victor, there has to be a loser. There were some performers who left Levi's Stadium licking their wounds of war and pondering their next steps.
It's easy for WWE Creative to book the winners of WrestleMania season. Often, they will move onto bigger and better things. Losers are much harder to book.
This is the conundrum that faces the future work of Rusev, Bray Wyatt, Stardust and many others after their losses at the Show of Shows.
The otherwise excellent post-WrestleMania episode of Raw this week ...
WWE WrestleMania 31 a Reminder to Focus on Performances, Not Winners and Losers
On March - 31 - 2015
Don't zero in on wins and losses when reflecting on WWE WrestleMania 31. The Showcase of the Immortals is about more than who achieves victory; it's about who creates the lasting images.
Too many fans let rooting for their favorite wrestler to win ruin the fun. When WWE decides to give the other guy the decisive pinfall, the words "buried" and "jobber" get thrown around. Anger clouds the area of the brain that controls being amazed.
At Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Rusev lost, John Cena won again and Bray Wyatt ran his WrestleMania record to 0-2. The Eater of Worlds is ...

Roman Reigns Destined to Receive the John Cena Treatment from Fans Going Forward
On March - 31 - 2015
Roman Reigns knows what John Cena goes through every night more than anyone else on earth.
Both men find themselves both cheered and booed, viewed as superheroes or scapegoats depending on the crowd gathered to see them. And like Cena, it doesn't matter what Reigns does in the ring. He can be a part of any number of classics.
It won't matter; the doubters are already convinced of his inadequacy.
In the biggest match of his life, Reigns stepped up, as WWE banked on him doing. He and Brock Lesnar capped off WrestleMania 31 with what Jim Ross would refer to as a ...

On March - 31 - 2015
Seth Rollins walked that aisle at WrestleMania 31 and became the man, winning his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
For his fans, it was a much-anticipated moment to see him reach the top of the company. But for everyone else, it was not the epic main event success story WWE would have them believe.

John Cena’s WrestleMania Win Will Elevate the U.S. Championship
On March - 31 - 2015
John Cena is once again the man with the gold at WWE.
This time though, it's not the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist, but the United States title. And the man he took it from was doing all he could to bring respect to the belt.
But Rusev's star is just not bright enough to give the United States Championship the credibility it deserves. Cena will not have that problem, as he is the man to elevate the title back to its former glory.
Rusev's loss comes after an undefeated streak that saw him become one of the most ...

On March - 31 - 2015
Even though it's the biggest show of the year by some distance, WrestleMania does have plenty in common with the other shows on the calendar.
And although there's more hype, a bigger crowd and more excitement at Mania than on any other WWE stage, there's still the possibility for some hit-and-miss moments throughout.
WrestleMania often provides plenty of high points, and the 31st edition certainly managed to have a few moments that will stand the test of time.
