'Tis the season to rank every WWE championship ahead of WWE Night of Champions.  It's the one night of the year where WWE pretends to care about all of its brass rings equally, but the booking will show which championships are truly held in high regard.  Much has changed since the last time this was done and surprises could be in store.  Championships will be ranked based on frequency of pay-per-view title defenses and relevancy to current angles.  The top title should in the WWE is academic.  The rest are nothing short of a crapshoot.   Begin Slideshow

WWE's WrestleMania of the Summer has come and gone, meaning five pay-per-views will round out 2013 before the real WrestleMania season begins.  WWE's offerings may leave much to be desired. Extending WWE's flagship show by an hour was a move that brought a shower of criticism. Monday Night Raw went from two hours to three last July. WWE is on the verge of something great. When a match as electric as Orton and Christian's and a promo as powerful as AJ Lee's is overshadowed, you know the company is loading something outstanding into the cannon. There's plenty of praise to pass around this week to Triple H, Paul Heyman and the Divas champ. Only the continued misuse of an awesome talent and a strange decision regarding the Night of Champions card take away from an entertaining week. Excellence is an expectation that must be the goal for some of the best characters in WWE in a long time―Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family.Characters that have less range or natural talent are the ones I think should be managed and given to the audience in the right dose.
