WWE: Was Alex Riley’s Elimination a Major Botch in This Year’s Royal Rumble?
On January - 31 - 2011
The Royal Rumble is traditionally a surprising main event, and the 2011 match certainly lived up to the hype. From the return of Kevin Nash to the Spiderman antics of John Morrison, it had it all.Well of course fans of Triple H might argue otherwise, but it had most of what we expected. However did we also witness one of the worst botches in Rumble history? Flashback: Alex Riley is in the corner of the ring, being pummeled by Kofi Kingston and John Cena. He is on the verge of elimination. He is straddling the top rope but is released ...

How CM Punk Made Me a Believer in the WWE’s PG Era
On January - 31 - 2011
It hurts to say it at 23 years of age, but I am an avid wrestling fan and have been since about as early as I can remember. It's gotten to the point where my girlfriend isn't worried about me bringing girls back to my place, because there's an Intercontinental Title Belt and a Razor Ramon action figure hanging on the wall.
Humiliating anecdotes aside, I am pretty much an old schooler. Anything from the mid-80's on is pretty much my game. That being said, I stopped watching contemporary wrestling in 2002 when Vince killed the nWo after their return to ...
Scoff with The Off: Survivor Series Going Away, Wrestlemania Match (SPOILER)
On January - 31 - 2011
What's up, Bleachers? The Off is back with some news about PPVs so let's get started.
WWE Contemplating a Name Change for Survivor Series
I guess the WWE does not like tradition as they are thinking about changing the name of Survivor Series to yet another match-type name (i.e. Hell in a Cell, TLC, Fatal 4-Way). Not really a good decision if you ask me, but what do you think they could come up with?
Rey Mysterio's Wrestlemania Match
Warning: If you do not want to see a possible Wrestlemania match do not read any further.
Rey Mysterio is currently out with an injury. Before this, ...
WWE Monday Night Raw: Triple H Will Return
On January - 31 - 2011
I will never make another prediction in my life if I am wrong about this.
We are halfway complete with this weeks episode of WWE Monday Night Raw and the Mysterious Raw General Manager has made a big match.
A Raw Rumble match will take place with seven wrestlers in it, and the winner of the seven will go on to face The Miz in one-on-one action at Elimination Chamber; the other six, will compete in the chamber itself.
Jerry "The King" Lawler was one of the seven wrestlers named in this Raw Rumble match.
Does anyone actually think he will go and fight ...
WWE RAW Results, Questions and Comments… LIVE! (1/31/2011)
On January - 31 - 2011
Twenty-four hours ago was the event which starts the Road To Wrestlemania, and it certainly set a lot of moving pieces into their starting positions. From here, we have a few ideas for what matches will take place at Wrestlemania. Each week I give the GuysNation perspective on what transpires for RAW (and then again on Friday for Smackdown) in the form of questions, comments and (in the case of the GuysNation version of this article because I can't put them everywhere) polls.Tonight, I start the article off by listing some of the questions which are currently running through my head, ...
Big WWE and TNA News: Kevin Nash, Vince McMahon, Alberto Del Rio, and More
On January - 31 - 2011
As we all saw last night, we had two huge returns to the WWE in Kevin Nash and Booker T. The WWE originally signed them in a small role, where a Rumble appearance was in the clause, but both would have limited roles in the future.
Booker T for example would have a few storylines, in a part-time stance, while Nash would probably work a short-term deal through Mania then a limited role after.
However, both received huge pops last night and WWE officials were pleased with how it turned out. It is now being said that Booker could see some time ...
WWE Wrestlemania XXVII: Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Christian in the Making
On January - 31 - 2011
Yesterday, we witnessed awesomeness. Even though the World Heavyweight and WWE Championship matches were good, they weren't as good as I thought they could be. But that's okay, because the ending to both of those matches were both brilliant and exciting.
For the World Heavyweight Championship match, Edge beat Dolph Ziggler after hitting the "banned" spear on Ziggler while the referee and Vickie were down and out. Edge pulled an Eddie Guerrero, and well, he cheated. After hitting the spear, he acted as if he was unconscious and got up and hit the unprettier on Dolph Ziggler to get the victory ...
WWE Royal Rumble 2011: Best, Worst and Huh Moments
On January - 31 - 2011
What's up! Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks you know that the 25th Royal Rumble took place last night in Boston. The event wasn't all that great, considering the amount of hype that was associated with the event, and in many people's eyes, it didn't live up to its full potential.
Here are some of my best, worst and huh moments of the 2011 Royal Rumble!
Best: A spirited contest between Edge and Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship that resulted in Edge's favour. Both put on a show, but the crowd seemed to be ...
TNA: Who’s Next in line to challenge Beer Money for Tag Team Gold?
On January - 31 - 2011
I'm Charlie Groenewegen and I've been a member of B/R since September 2010. This is my first article on the B/R and I've been itching for a topic and here it is. Enjoy!
I had this question.
Who will challenge Beer Money for the Tag Team Championships come this February 13th at Against All Odds?
With Alex Shelley out of action with a broken clavicle, it's pretty obvious that Motorcity Machineguns will be put on hold. Though I'd love to see Chris Sabin compete in singles competition for awhile.
I thought. Which team will it be? First I thought, Generation Me? No, both teams ...
