WWE U.S Title: Why John Morrison vs. Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz is a Good Match
On September - 30 - 2010
It was announced on Raw that John Morrison and the Miz will challenge Daniel Bryan for the U.S belt. This match could be a win win situation for everyone, even the fans.
All three wrestlers have taken a very different route to get were they are in their career now, but are they all at a point were they need one last push to elevate them into the spotlight?
John Morrison joined WWE in 2002 after he won Tough Enough III with Matt Cappotelli. His first push in the company was when he was teamed with Joey Mercury and Melina to form ...
King Of the Ring: Who Is the Greatest WWE Superstar Of All Time?
On September - 30 - 2010
There is no means of measuring success in wrestling and so to answer this question takes great time and consideration. Wrestling ability, mic skills, popularity, commercial potential, world titles, retirement, Wrestlemania moments, and quality of matches. There is a lot to consider. Use only one of the criteria and the results produced can become controversial.
World Titles suggests Edge is better than Shawn Michaels, John Cena is better than the Undertaker, and Randy Orton more successful than Randy Savage. Which by rough calculations suggests Ric Flair, Triple H, and Hulk Hogan are at the top of the pile.
Include other world titles and ...
WWE Reportedly Open To Giving Sting a Spot in the Hall of Fame
On September - 30 - 2010
Several websites have reported that sources within WWE are open to giving Sting a spot in the Hall of Fame after he retired from TNA.
Despite having never worked for the company Sting is said to have an amicable relationship with Vince McMahon built on the respect they each have for each others contributions to the sport.
Sting has not responded as to whether he would be open to accepting the award, but why would he refuse?
Sting was a mainstay in WCW from the '80s all the way until the day the company was bought by WWE and shut down.
Sting may even ...
The Two Sheds Review: Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot!

The name of Surf Graffiti will probably mean very little to you. In fact it meant very little to me until I heard it for the first time a few weeks ago.Surf is a 19-year-old making his way in the British wrestling business. A native of the isle of Guernsey he has been appearing for many promotions in the north of England, earning himself quite a reputation.Step forward Big Benny HG. Obviously that’s not his real name. His real name is Ben Corrigan. Benny is a member of the UK Fan Forum. The UKFF is one of those marmite kind ...
Does RAW Need Chris Jericho?
On September - 30 - 2010
All indications are that Jericho will be off on another hiatus with his band Fozzy, in an ongoing attempt to fulfill his other childhood dream of becoming a rock star. Good for you, I hope you sell out lots of high school gymnasiums.
I confess to being somewhat selfish and bitter given I’m a fan of his work. So forgive me for poking some fun at his relative lack of success in the music world given it DOES come at the expense of my being able to watch him perform in the squared circle.
In terms of credentials, Jericho was the only ...
WWE Legend The Undertaker: Is the Phenom Overrated…Really?
On September - 30 - 2010
After reading an article about The Undertaker being over-rated, I started to write a comment, but it was so long I decided to make an article.
If you have not read it, I invite you to read the article that inspired me:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/476795-wwes-most-overrated-dead-man-i-think-he-is-extremely-overrated-opinion
No wrestler is perfect, including The Undertaker. I am a die hard fan since the Royal Rumble 1994 promos. I will always remember when he was preparing Yokozuna's casket. He was so much better back then.
He started as one of the greatest heels ever. After one year, he won the WWF Championship against none other than The Immortal Hulk Hogan. ...
Pro Wrestling Conspiracy Theories: Is The WWE Promoting TNA?
On September - 29 - 2010
This past week on RAW, the WWE promotion faced a crossroads as they premiered a pivotal episode of RAW just one week after posting the lowest rated show of the year.
Many watched this show with keen interest, wondering just how the WWE would respond to such low ratings.
Yet outside of Chris Jericho and Randy Orton in the main event, the WWE did very little outside of the ordinary to put itself in a better position for ratings.
As a matter of fact, the only promotion who the WWE seemed to be putting in position for better ratings was TNA.
During this week's ...
The Drive With Rize: REAL Raw Ratings, Cena’s Turn?, Y2J’s Future, Orton
On September - 29 - 2010
Hi, Bleachers. It's your hero Rize here with this week's major wrestling news.
First off—the Raw ratings situation. I know everyone has heard of the 2.37 rating, which is supposedly the lowest in thirteen years. But it turns out that wasn't true—it was actually a 2.7. Still, that's not much better.
The ratings have been slipping the past few months, but I guess Creative didn't care until now. I don't exactly blame the PG era, but it definitely played a big part in them losing the older audience.
Anyway, to the Chris Jericho situation. The punt he received Monday was to write Y2J ...

What's up Bleacher Creatures?''I haven't got time to waste, so let's bleach it!''I recently wrote my comeback article on Bleacher Report, which comprised of some of the activities and events in the WWE that caught my eye while I wasn't an active writer and things that were happening during my time back on the site. Well this article has the same theme to it, only this time, I will cross the line and share my thoughts on some of the events which have occurred in TNA over the last three months or so.ECW ORIGINALS/EXTREME VERSION 2.O IN TNAI honestly didn't ...
WWE Superstars: The Exception To The Rule Of Diminishing Returns?
On September - 29 - 2010
With the news that NXT is going to the great Television Network in the sky and has been relegated to an online-only programme, it seems that all WWE programmes are in decline creatively and in the ratings.
Raw, for example, has returned some shockingly low ratings over the past few months and while Smackdown is standing strong, the show has received an expected boost in ratings thanks to all the hullabaloo around it's move to Syfy in the next few weeks or so.
In all honesty, I would expect them to experience a dip in ratings once the furore has calmed down.
In addition to this, many ...
